Mandie Bartle

MBACP (Accred), MBABCP, Qualified CBT Counsellor

Counselling can help you to make sense of issues that are causing you distress, enabling you to make the changes needed to improve your life.
How you think can affect how you feel and in turn your behaviour.  In times of distress thinking can become extreme and unhelpful, making you feel worse and behaving in a way which prolongs your distress.
As a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist I would work with you in an empathic and non-judgemental way to help you to identify your thinking, feelings and behaviours , empowering you to make the changes needed to move forward with your life, in the relaxed surroundings of the Cottage Therapy Centre.
I am experienced in working with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, phobias, OCD, self esteem and issues around self harm.  I currently work for agencies counselling survivors of childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence and have received specific training in these areas
